Vignan Institute of Technology & Science (VITS) is one of the three engineering institutes run by the well-known Vignan group of Guntur and was established in the year 1999.
Vignan Engineering College, Vadlamudi, near Guntur was started in 1997 where as the Vignan Institute of Information Technology at Visakhapatnam came into existence during the academic year 2001-2002.
