Kakatiya University is a public university located in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the largest recipients of central government educational funds, evidenced by the recent external campus facelift and vast expansion and acquisition of the latest IT equipment and related peripherals.
Emergence of this University was in fact a historic event in the sense that it heralded a new era in the realm of higher education catering to the needs of North Telangana.
