Gurukul Grammar senior secondary school was established by Dr. Basanta Kumar Bhuyan on 18 January, 1993.
The school is situated in Pub-Gitanagar with an area extending to 10- Bighas of land free from air and noise pollution. The Senior – Secondary section is separated from the high school and Kidzee section and there are separate buildings for each.
