Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati presently conducts programmes in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Science and Technology, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mathematics & Computing, and Mechanical Engineering.
Four years Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) program is also offered in the college. Students are selected for admission to the above programmes through Joint Entrance Examination for IITs (IIT-JEE).
