Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya was temporarily established on temporary land in the campus of Teacher Training School by the then District Authority. It is situated about 80 mts. away from the Thawe National Highway.
Admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are made through national level competitive examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education and the children are admitted at class VI level.
