Patna Museum is the state museum of Bihar built by British in 1917, and is know Jadu Ghar locally.
Patna Museum has a large collection of Gandhara and the Mathura style art. The museum has a number of pre-historic items and also paintings and artifacts from the British era.
The fossil of a tree said to be more than 200 million years old is on display at the museum.
