Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagrota was established in 1979 at Nagrota Cantt.
Nagrota the school is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body formed by the Ministry of Education (HRD), Govt. of India, new Delhi.
The Vidyalaya is having classes I to XII with three streams viz Arts, science and Commerce at plus two(+2) level.
