Bhau Daji Lad Museum, Mumbai was formerly the Victoria and Albert Museum and is one of the oldest museums in Mumbai.
This museum was originally established in 1855 and the present building of the museum was built completely in 1872 at Jijamata Udyan in Byculla.
This museum houses a large number of archaeological finds, maps and historical photographs of Mumbai.
The Museum is open from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm (Tickets sold upto 5:00 pm).
Bhau Daji Lad Museum is closed on Wednesdays and certain public holidays.
