Anu Chowdhury is a leading Oriya language and Bengali actress in Bhubaneswar based Oriya Cinema at Ollywood.
Her debut Oriya film was Maa Goja Bayani. She was born and brought up in the capital city of Bhubaneswar, and was inspired by father, who was a television producer by profession.
Anu is back in the Oriya movie with Tumehi Sathi Mora, a VRS Productions presentation.
Anu Chowdhury was adjudged the Best Actress for her performance in Sasughara Chalijibi at the 2005 Orissa State Film Awards ceremony held at Bhubaneswar on 30 May 2007
