On 28th August 2006, the Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh announced for the establishment of the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) at Bhubaneswar, which will be operated under the umbrella of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Govt. of India.
NISER site gives info about administration, academic council, board of governers, office bearers, director, academic programmes - integrated M.Sc, and Ph.D, visitor programme, opportunities, research, school of biological science, chemical science, mathematical science and physical science, faculty, students and staff, announcements and campus life.
