Roland educational & charitable trust was found on the 19th November 1997 with the sole objectives of promoting the cause of education in the backward region of south Orissa.
Roland Institute Of Technology, popularly known as RIT, was set up on 2000, to impart degree courses in engineering under the Roland Educational & Charitable Trust.
