In the year 1993 an Architectural College, named after the renowned Architect Mr. Piloo Mody was set up in Badambadi, Cuttack.
In November 1998 the first step was taken in hiring the industrial shed in C- 12, Khapuria for setting up the Engineering Wing of the College.
Due to approval of A.I.C.T.E, sanction of Govt. of Orissa and affiliation of Utkal University were obtained on priority and thus A.B.I.T came into existence.
