Padmanava College of Engineering was set up in the year 1999 by the Padmanava Educational Trust on the auspicious Birthday of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehuru.
The College has received due recognition from Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela to work with it. The Govt. Of Orissa has given its due recognition and concurrence to the institute. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the apex governing body of all the technical education institutes in the country, has given its due approval to the college.
