The Sanjay Memorial Institute of Technology was set up in the year 1980. It has since grown into an educational complex comprising of the Diploma Engg. M.B.A., Library & Information Sc., I.T.C. and Degree Engineering.
This group is the first ever educational Institution imparting technical education in the state of Orissa in the private sector. Thus the Degree Engg. College, SMIT has risen to the occasion of effectively teaching & training the young students in engineering disciplines for the benefit of mankind.
