Maitreyi is a voluntary, secular, non political and non profit oriented organisation offering care for the lonely and desperate and suicidal persons.
The organisation is affiliated to the Befrienders India which is in turn affiliated to the Befrienders Worldwide , based in the United Kingdom.
Maitreyi provides emotional support to those passing through personal crises and in imminent, danger of taking their own lives.
