Mussoorie Modern School was established by the Mussoorie Modern Education Society In March 1970.
It is affiliated to the Council of Indian school Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. Pupils are prepared for I.C.S.E. (Year - 10) and I.S.C. (Year - 12) examinations.
It is primarily a boarding school but a few students attend as day-scholars.
