Rudraprayag District is under the Garhwal Division of Uttarakhand.
Kedarnath Valley and parts of district Tehri & Pauri were conjoined to form Rudraprayag district.
The district is bounded by Uttarkashi District on the north, Chamoli District on the east, Pauri Garhwal District on the south, and Tehri Garhwal District on the south.
Rudraprayag, Augustmuni, Guptkashi, Jakholi, Sonprayag, Khirsu, Gaurikund, Deoria Tal, Chopta, Ukhimath, Gandhi Sarovar and Vasuki Tal are some of the places of interest in the district.
