Industrial Training Institute aims at ensuring a steady flow of skilled personnel and to reduce unemployment amongst the educated youth.
The ITI's provide necessary training for acquiring skills, education and discipline for suitable industrial employment as well as self-employment.
ITI's are affiliated to National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), through the Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGET), Government of India in the Ministry of labour, New Delhi. They impart training in engineering and non-engineering trades.
