Kendriya Vidyalaya Maithon Dam came into existence in 1985 under the sponsorship of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC).
This Kendriya Vidyalaya is located in the picturesque township of DVC near the bank of Barakar river.
Through the years the school has expanded not just its opportunities for learning, but also its student population and student accomplishments.
