The Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency or JREDA was incorporated in 2001 promoting use of renewable energy sources in the state.
It is is working for implementation of schemes by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy Sources (MNRES)and Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA).
