The ACC was formed in New Delhi as Asian Cricket Conference.
The Conference became the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) in 1995 and its current headquarters are in Malaysia. There are 22 members of the Asian Cricket Council and its current president is AHM Mustafa Kamal from Bangladesh.
