The Technical Education Wing of Department of Technical Education and Industrial Training has been entrusted with the responsibility of managing Degree and Diploma level Institutions in the State of Punjab. The Department is looking after the Management and Pharmacy Institutions also.
The work in the Department is mostly governed by the norms, guidelines and regulations of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) which has been established under the Central Govt. Act.
