The Goa Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or SPCA was set up in 2000 and in 2006 it was accepted as a member society of the World Society for Protection of Animals, WSPA.
Goa SPCA has links like be a guardian angel - handling emergencies, countering animal abuse, enforcing the law, bark and bite - animal rights issues, watering hole - workshops and medical camps, first flight - world animal day, national awards, friends and inspirations etc
