The college which is in the heart of the city, was started during 1984-85 under the aegis of the Seshadripuram Educational Trust.
The college is affiliated to Bangalore University and recognized by Bar Council of India, New Delhi. It conducts three year LL.B. Course since 1984. From 2004-05 Five Year LL.B. law course has been started. The college has a Governing Council duly constituted by Seshadripuram Educational Trust.
