The Bangalore Centre of the Indian Statistical Institute was conceived by Prof.P.C.Mahalanobis during 1960s.
MS in Library and Information Science, Bachelor of Mathematics, Master of Mathematics, Bachelor of Statistics, Master of Statistics, Junior Research Fellowship / Research Associateship, and Part-time Certificate Course in SQC & OR are conducted in this institute.
